The town of Argentona is located between the Litoral mountain range and the sea, further inland. Traditionally, this town was the summer resort of the lords and nobles of Barcelona, who came to the town to rest in its spas and drink from its more than 215 springs. The iconic modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch chose Argentona to build his summer house and contributed with his impressive works to the modernist legacy of the town, such as the Cara Garí, the Chapel of the Santísimo and his own house. Apart from the attraction of its thermal and “medicinal” waters, the village has a rich architectural heritage, numerous hotel and catering establishments including bars and restaurants, and a store specializing in foodstuffs and home-made products such as sausages and others prepared according to traditional recipes. In the surroundings of the village you can find houses or villas already built on large plots with gardens and pools, with beautiful and relaxing views.
